Since September 2007 I’ve been documenting the poultry sale at Henley-in Arden market in Warwickshire. The market is centuries old, but the land has been sold for redevelopment. It is an important, perhaps irreplacable, social and commercial hub for North Warwickshire. People come from miles around to attend the poultry sale, as far afield as High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, and Derby. There are very few specialist poultry sales left in England.
